Since graduating with a BSc (hons) Degree in Computing from Leeds Metropolitan University I have been working as a Software Developer for small to medium sized businesses. In previous years I taught the Interactive Internet Systems module as part of the IT Foundation Degree at Selby College which introduces students to building web applications in PHP and MySQL.

My career has led me to experience multiple roles from analysing requirements and writing software to architecting and leading development projects, working with a number of large companies across both public and private sector including; Network Rail, GB Group, AXA, Emerald Group Publishing, Amey, NRS and McArthur Glen. I specialise in developing web applications, web services and windows applications using a wide range of technologies consisting of ASP.Net, Microsoft’s MVC 3, Spring MVC 3, WCF, SOAP, WPF and WinForms, developing in languages such as C#, VB.Net, VB6, Java and SQL.

In September 2013 I joined Genfour as a Senior Consultant. My role involves identifying, analysing and automating business processes using a variety of different tools and developing software solutions.

Currently living in Yorkshire with my Fiancée and in my spare time I like to travel, read historical fiction, play computers games and socialise.
